I hand forge these skillets out of 1/8th inch thick carbon steel. They are 10.5 inches in diameter. I forge the decorative handle out of 1/4 x 3/4 bar stock. Over all length with handle is about 18.5 inches long, and the handle is 8 inches long. This is an heirloom quality piece that will last generations. The skillet weighs about 3.5 lbs. The edge is raised about 1.25 inches high. Flat diameter inside the skillet is about 7 inches.
