Camp Skillet, Hand Forged, Hiking 6.75" or 9.5" dia. Bushcraft and Camping

Lightweight. Compact. Durable. Versatile.  When you're hiking into the back country you need equipment that checks these blocks. Drop your pack on a rock and it'll survive.  Not sure that nice thin jobby from REI will though.

It has a hollow folding socket handle so it packs nicely. Whittle a branch down to fit in the socket so you can stay out of range and fry your bacon, not your fingers.

I forge these out of 16 gauge sheet steel. They're 6.75" in diameter and weigh about 12 ounces. They come coated with a food safe oil that's baked on while they're still hot.  Add a little oil when cooking and they are EXTREMELY non stick. They wipe out and clean up nicely. If you need a heavier one for the kitchen check out my fixed handle skillet. Same great qualities without the extend-o-handle, and a little bit fancier.
