These little belt axes are great to carry on the belt or in your pack, and they pack a punch. They weigh about 1 lb 11 ounces total weight, and have a 14.5 inch hickory handle.

I forge these the traditional way with a mild steel body and forge weld in the high carbon steel bit for the cutting edge.

These hold a fantastic edge and will still slice a piece of paper after cutting down a small tree.
