Hand forged large door pulls, barn door

Price is for one handle These are very stout large hand forged door pulls. Fantastic for your barn, man cave, or castle door. The handles are forged out of 1 inch solid square stock. I start out with 9 inches of material and upset the ends (push the metal back into itself) to give it a swell at the ends back to 8 inches. The holes in the handles that accept the round tenons from the spacers are hot punched not drilled. The back plate is made out of quarer inch plate 3 inches wide by 10 inches long. It is forged to shape (not cut) and final length is about 10.5 inches long. I hand chisel in a groove around the border and hammer the edges. The handle is connected to the back plate by 3/4 inch square spacers with mortis and tenon joinery. There is no welding in these handles it is all traditional forging.
